§ 54.99. PENALTY.

(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99.
(B) (1) A person who violates § 53.16 shall be subject to the following penalties:
(a) First offense: $1,000.
(b) Second or subsequent offense: $2,500.
(2) At the discretion of the Director of Public Works or Town of Chandler Chief of Police, the enforcement provision of § 53.16 may be deferred of pending enforcement of any appropriate criminal sanctions provided under the laws of the State of Indiana.

(C) Any user who violates § 53.15(D) and (E) may be punished by a fine of not more than $2,500, see I.C. 36-1-3-8(a)(10)(B). Each day of violation shall constitute a serrate offense. In addition to, or in the alternative to a fine, water service may be terminated for any user who violates § 53.15(D) and (E).
